“‘Shark Whisperers’ pet tiger sharks while in the middle of a feeding frenzy.”

This story is mostly true—except the part about the Aussie government providing a list of shark and whale safety tips. Touching dead whales, they note, is illegal. Shark touching will probably result in a more natural form of punishment.

As for the others, a new study shows dogs make better training partners than humans for walking and hiking, and the ingeniously created but totally artificial Teton Ice Park goes live this week at Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wy.
