Is it an enriching educational center or an unacceptable development on public land? Debate continues to swirl over the Desert Discovery Center project proposed for McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale. In the latest development, the groups NoDDC and Protect Our Preserve filed a notice of claim in late May, which often comes before a lawsuit. The groups want to hold a public vote over the future of the project.
