Access Fund and Patagonia are bringing the climbing community together in the Bay Area on September 9th. This is a chance to connect with friends, celebrate our access and conservation successes, learn some new advocacy skills, and support the fight for America’s public lands. The systematic attack on America’s public lands, home to over 60% of our climbing areas, is one of the greatest threats to climbing access we have ever faced and we need your help.
Join Access Fund, Bay Area Climbers Coalition, and Patagonia for a full day of workshops, panel discussions, and trainings to protect climbing areas and engage with the greater conservation movement. Right now, we are up against one of the greatest threats to climbing access we have ever faced, and we need climbers like to you to be prepared to take action.
Stick around that night and join us for the Stand Up for Public Lands annual dinner. This can’t-miss event is the Access Fund’s largest party of the year, featuring beer and cocktails, keynote address, presentation of the 2016 Sharp End Awards, along with live and silent auctions. Enjoy an incredible evening with fellow climbers and support the movement to protect America’s public lands and their irreplaceable climbing opportunities.
