The Seattle Every Kid in a Park Collaborative seeks to get local kids out enjoying their backyards–particularly underserved kids (including homeless children) who don’t otherwise have many opportunities to do so. The program, which brings together 11 partners, does everything from take 6th graders on overnight trips to planning snowshoe outings for 4th graders to setting up internships at local historic parks for high school and college students.
