After a car accident plus lupus left Stacy Kozel a quadriplegic in 2014, doctors didn’t think she’d ever walk again. But with the help of computer-powered leg braces, Kozel completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2016 and is currently hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, covering up to 30 miles per day.
