The Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office announced the appointment of a new deputy director, Janette Heung, last week. Colorado is one of only three states with a government office dedicated to supporting and promoting outdoor recreation, with a focus on economic development and conservation. The office launched in 2015 and Luis Benitez serves as director.
