The National Park Service has extended the comment period for its proposed fee increase to December 22 (it had previously been scheduled to close November 23). The plan would hike entrance fees to $70 per car at 17 of the most popular parks, including Yellowstone, Yosemite, Olympic, Acadia, Rocky Mountain, Shenandoah, and Grand Canyon.
