New Hampshire hikers are getting ready to debate that question as the Forest Service announced plans to remove a bridge granting access to the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Rangers say the removal will preserve the area’s wilderness character, but other hikers argue the loss will make it harder and more dangerous for people to enjoy the area.
