Homeless Group May Sue City Over Planned Bike Path

Chicago Coalition for the Homeless say proposed paths will drive out residents under several Lake Shore Drive bridges.

Chicago has worked hard to become more bike friendly, but its latest plan—to put bike paths on the wide sidewalks under the bridges at Wilson and Lawrence Avenues—may leave little room for longtime homeless residents. The city's plan is part of a larger effort to serve an increasing volume of pedestrians and bicyclists.
