Hiker Rescued After 50-Foot Fall
Crews responded after a hiker fell from a Carbonado-area trail.
A woman slipped from a trail near Carbonado Sunday morning, falling 50 feet and injuring her back but escaping major injuries. East Pierce and Carbonado rescue units responded and transferred the hiker to the hospital.
