One happy consequence of the spring's series of snowstorms: Ski resorts across New England are extending their seasons thanks to the abundance of snow. Massachusetts's Jiminy Peak and Vermont's Bromley have said they will remain open to April 8, while New York's Whiteface, Gore, and Bellayre might extend even past that date, conditions permitting.
