Don't let the name fool you, this trail provides excellent hiking and ample views into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Join us in partnering with the Washington Department of Natural Resources to construct a new trail to Dirty Harry's Balcony.
The original Dirty Harry's Peak trail uses old logging roads to ascend from the South Fork Snoqualmie River to near timberline and then continues switchbacking up the ridge to the summit. The spur trail to Dirty Harry's Balcony leads to a rocky overlook from which you can marvel at Mount Kent, McClellan Butte, and Mount Washington, the behemoths forming the south rim of the west entrance to Snoqualmie Pass.
