1. Geology and History of North Table Mountain

Where: North Table Mountain, Golden, CO

Details: Today's topic: Geology and History of North Table Mountain. In partnership with Jefferson County Public Library's Summer Reading Program, Jeffco Open Space is proud to present multiple education topics throughout the county library locations. Rangers from Jefferson County Open Space cover a variety of topics on wildlife, hiking and getting the most out of our wide open spaces!

2. Birding & Beer
When: 9 am-12 pm
Where: Cannonball Creek Brewing Company, Golden, CO
Cost: $70 (registration required)
Details: Join us for this unique tour and discover why! Experience the beauty and birds of Red Rocks. It's more than a world-famous concert venue! Over 200 species of birds have been recorded in the park, including nesting peregrine and prairie falcons, towhees, jays, and more. Enjoy an easy hike led by an expert guide designed for bird lovers of all levels, followed by an entertaining pairing on our comfy bus that pairs Colorado's summer birds and beers!


3. Rocky Mountain National Park Habitat Restoration
When: 8 am Sat-3 pm Sun
Where: Rocky Mountain National Park
Cost: Free (registration required)
Details: Rocky Mountain National Park is a spectacular iconic destination in Colorado. WRV volunteers will be returning there twice this year to help restore three disturbed sites near Sprague Lake, Moraine Park and the Headquarters. This event is Part 1. Altogether, between these two events, volunteers will plant over 7,000 wetland plants, and seed, rake and mulch over 7 acres. Camping in the park will be provided free for volunteers. This project fills quickly so sign up early! Friday night arrival encouraged.


4. Outside with Pride
When: 9 am-12:30 pm
Where: Denver, CO
Cost: Free
Details: Take to the streets of Denver with us as we proudly march and represent #OutsideWithPride. Last year we were at the D.C., Denver, San Francisco and Seattle parades. This year we’re doing it all over. We’ll be the group decked out in Outside with Pride shirts. We'll see you there!


5. Summit Sisters Retreat

Summit Sisters provides a safe and supportive space to learn new skills and experience the kind of connection you don’t get in everyday busy life! This event is for anyone 18 and over who identifies as a woman.
