Georgia’s coyote population has attracted so much concern, the Department of Natural Resources sponsors a coyote-hunting contest (last year, it resulted in almost 200 kills). But local group Atlanta Coyote Project, a research and public education group, argues that such hunting contests are a mistake and that coyotes in towns actually bring many benefits.
