Two Colorado representatives, Republican Scott Tipton and Democrat Diana DeGette, are two co-sponsors for the Every Kid Outdoors Act. The bill, which is progressing through the House and Senate, would give 4th graders free entry to all national parks in an effort to develop conservation values, encourage exercise, and strengthen partnerships between schools and parks.
