1. It's Your Park Day at Montrose Beach Dunes
9 am-2 pm
Where: Montrose Beach Dunes, Chicago, IL
Cost: Free (registration required)
Details: Kick off the summer with a day filled with park enhancement and community bonding. Community volunteers will mulch trees, replacing fibar on playgrounds, and cleaning our park’s green spaces. Families, company groups and individuals are invited to participate! Volunteers will receive It’s Your Park Day shirts, snacks from KIND, Boxed Water, High Brew Coffee, a gift from Lifeway and supplies provided by the Chicago Parks Foundation.

2. CAMBr Annual Meeting 
: 10 am-5 pm
Where: Maple Lake East, MTB Staging Area
Cost: Free; donations suggested
Details: There is a lot going on at CAMBr, come on out and get the latest info straight from your leadership. And ask questions, like flats or clipless and what size wheel. There will be BBQ from Uncle Bub's BBQ, with sides, Hot Dogs for the kids, and anyone else for that matter.
Bring your own beverages, in cans, NO GLASS

Riding, Music, Food and Fun! You can't beat that.

3. Canyon Hike & Boat Ride
When: 11 am-2 pm & 12:30-3:30 pm
Where: Starved Rock State Park, Oglesby, IL
Cost: $33 (registration required)
Details: Enjoy a trolley ride to the east end of the park for a scenic, guided walk to Council Overhang and Ottawa Canyon. The walk is less than a mile and will take about 45 minutes. Then, the trolley will take you to the Lone Point Shelter where you will board “The Eagle I” for an hour and a half boat ride on the picturesque Illinois River. Tour includes: a “Starved Rock” map backpack, a snack and a bottle of water. Canyon chosen may vary depending on weather and trail conditions. Please call (815) 220-7386 to register.


4. Hiking 101: Father's Day Hike
When: 10 am-2 pm
Where: Orland Grassland, Orland Park, IL
Cost: Free
Details: Take Father’s Day out on the trails with a guided hike through rolling prairie and wetland. Recommended for ages 10 & up.

5. Hike 5 Miles at Herrick Lake
When: 4-7 pm
Where: Herrick Lake Forest Preserve, Wheaton, IL
Cost: Free (registration required)
Details: Let's have a hike in Herrick Lake Forest Preserve. We will have about 5.0 miles hike of Green Heron, Meadowlark, Lake, and Regional trails. I am thinking to walk a bit slowly to see and enjoy the natural scenes more.
