Ticking off the Triple Crown of hiking–that is, finishing the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide Trails–is a huge accomplishment for anyone. So 9-year-old Christian “Buddy Backpacker” Thomas becoming the youngest person to do so is extra-impressive. Thomas hiked the AT at 5, PCT at 6, and wrapped up the CDT this year to claim the title.
