Group: Boulder County Open Space
When: Sunday, August 13, 11 am to 1 pm
, Boulder, CO
Rangers must be prepared to fix and build anything you can find in a park or along a trail. If a sign post breaks, a ranger will build a new one. If a bridge is missing a wooden plank, a ranger will install a new one. Rangers carry many different types of tools in their backpacks and in their patrol trucks. For this very special challenge, ask your mom or dad to help you pack your tool kit, leather gloves, and safety glasses and join the rangers at the Meyers Gulch Trailhead at Walker Ranch for a fix-it workshop and building extravaganza!
This event is perfect for kids aged 5-12, but all family members are welcome. A parent or guardian must be present.
Be prepared and bring water, snacks, sunscreen and hiking shoes.
