This month, hikers should be able to spot a number of baby birds around Marin County, including common murres and California quail at Point Reyes and mallard ducks on the Palomarin Trail. More June natural wonders: blooming sand verbena at Abbotts Lagoon and rock lettuce at Cascade Canyon Open Space, plus swallowtail butterflies at Tomales Bay State Park.
