The city of Atlanta and the nonprofit Atlanta Beltline Inc. have purchased a plot of land for the planned Southside Trail for $25.8 million. The former railway corridor is scheduled to become a multiuse path that will connect the Westside and Eastside Trails, moving a big step closer to the goal of building a fully circular BeltLine.
