Angeles National Forest Lowers Fire Danger

Area receives normal precipitation for first time since January.

The Forest Service has lowered the fire danger in Angeles National Forest from Very High to High, citing near- and above-normal amounts of precipitation. While the change is cause for celebration, forest users will still face some restrictions in the area.
