A hiker was rescued Sunday after spending two days stranded on a Wyoming rock face.
Allen Arrington, 49, expected to be able to climb out the top of a straight-walled canyon at the Cabin Creek drainage, reports The Missoulian. However, after climbing hundreds of feet, Arrington became "rim rocked" and could not descend safely.
Arrington was in constant contact with his wife via portable radio during the ordeal. A Black Hawk helicopter from the Wyoming Army National Guard airlifted him to safety early Sunday. Arrington did not appear to have sustained any major injuries.
