Everything about this bag feels luxe–except for the price. From the generous elbowroom to the silky Tactel inner lining, and from the deep, snug-sealing hood to the fleece perimeter on the draft collar, every detail enhances comfort. You can even close the Velcro on the hood and draft collar (when not in use) to prevent hair snag, and the hood opens flat so you don't overheat on warm nights.
Lafuma keeps cost down with 650-fill down, which is slightly less compressible than the more expensive stuff, but the bag still kept testers warm at 25°F atop Utah's Thousand Lakes Plateau. It comes in one size only, and easily fits six-footers. Bummer: The lace-cinch compression sack is fussy. $220; 2 lbs. 7 oz.; 20°F
