Gear Review: MSR Flex Skillet

A home cooked meal no longer has to stay at home with this skillet.

Pancakes, cinnamon buns, fry breads. These are the scrumptious treats that can turn any trip into a gourmet affair. And this deep, nine-inch skillet is the perfect pan.

The Teflon coating is durable and prevents scrambled eggs from sticking (even with almost no oil), and the tall (2.5-inch) sides are ideal for puffy treats like deep-dish pizza. The fold-over handle packs easily, and it’s rubber coated to prevent burns.

Our only wish: an included lid, which is essential for baking. $25; 7 oz.; msrgear.com
