Warmth During multiday tests on Mts. Shasta and Whitney, our tester’s feet were warmer than any other climber’s, thanks to 400 grams of Thinsulate insulation and a fleece-lined collar in the Vasque Snowburban Ultradry. On Whitney’s summit, one tester lounged outside sipping cocoa while his climbing partners warmed their feet in the summit shelter.

Comfort “Like slippers from the get-go,” says one tester. The cushioned EVA midsole and padding from the insulation make for a luxurious feel, which was especially welcome when we trudged up Mt. Shasta’s Avalanche Gulch.
