Trail Runner Review: Salomon GCS Pro
This shoe fits the fastpacker interested in traveling long distances on hot days.
For fastpackers who like to cover long miles with light loads, this trail runner smoothes every step. Testers used the lightweight shoe for rocky trail runs and hikes, and raved about the cushion and stability of the shock-absorbing heel (you can see the springs). The forefoot has room for all-day comfort, and the open-mesh uppers are cool in hot weather. Watch for a full review in next month’s issue. $130
