Therm-a-Rest Corus HD Quilt

Like ultralight backpackers, bikepackers do more with less. Case in point: Sleeping bags are rare among the sport’s devotees. Enter quilts, and this one strikes a backpacking-friendly balance between durability and size. The Corus HD uses 20-denier polyester—burlier than many UL quilts—and packs down to 10 by 6 inches. Hydrophobic, 650-fill down handled damp nights down to 35°F. Our testers particularly liked the side baffles with underside loops that keep sleeping pads secure.
