With a DWR-treated nylon ripstop shell, it repels moderate precip, and a drop-tail hem covered our butts when we sat on cold rocks. The helmet-compatible hood allowed ample head mobility when we were belaying on wind-whipped crags. But the best part? A contoured fit kept drafts from sneaking up the hem.Â
