Keep from tripping over your partner with this tent made for two
“Great space, nice headroom (even for my 6’3″ husband), and we loved having the dual doors so we weren’t tripping over each other,” one tester wrote after trips in New England. Others applauded the Parkview’s wind resistance after experiencing strong gusts on California’s Lost Coast and in the Sawtooths. Even in its rainfly-only pitch (an option that weighs 4 lbs. 8 oz. and uses a footprint that costs an extra $40), the wedge-shaped tent didn’t bend. Both vestibules easily accommodate packs and boots, and still allow cooking space; four spacious interior pockets add convenience. The mesh canopy enhances ventilation, and the rainfly’s light-colored fabric brightens the interior. But the lack of color-coding on the hub pole makes it possible to pitch the Parkview backward, which would force you to start from scratch. The mesh had a dozen little snags after several trips, raising durability flags.
