The warmest PrimaLoft insulation on the market (Gold) kept our tester’s feet toasty into the single digits on a hut trip in British Columbia, while the nonslip, tire-tread-inspired sole provided above-average grip when testers ventured outside the hut. Boa-style laces can be cinched with gloved hands, while a rubber strap flips behind the heel to hold your foot down or atop the upper so you can kick the heel down and wear the shoe like a clog.
