Shirt

This long-sleeve button-down combines high-performance fabric with upgrade-me style. Tightly woven polyester fabric is water-resistant and wicks well. Two chest pockets (one is zippered) are hardly noticeable and secure a boarding pass or a wad of euros. The shirt excels in cool, dry conditions, but a mesh-flap back vent and two welded shoulder vents kept testers comfortable in temps up to the mid-60s. $75; S-XXL; 12 oz. (M); thenorthface.com.
