Quick Tip: Rainfly Right (Skills)
Quick tips to set your tent with the right rainfly.
To make the most of a rainy day, pick a rainfly that:
- covers the inner tent even when the fly’s unzipped
- attaches with buckles that allow prerigging for speedy setup
- has a vent in the roof to reduce condensation
- is pale in color to let more light inside (improving morale on long tentbound days)
- has a clear window that offer views of rainbows and marauding bears without unzipping the fly.
