This perennial favorite skips the bells and whistles to deliver stripped-down performance that’s small enough to stow in a med kit. The single-button operation is easy to use without devoting time to the manual, and our testers found its 50 lumens of output (maximum on two fresh AAAs) ample for doing tasks around camp and nighthiking on easy trails.
