Nikon D500

Best for capturing action shots

Brand: Nikon

Model: D500

With arguably the best autofocus system on the market, this camera is ideal for hastily taken shots of swift-moving subjects. The D500’s sensor is adept at tracking your hiking partner down the trail or zeroing in on a fleet-footed animal, adjusting on the fly as the distance and light change. Some of its modes can even retain focus while tracking a subject that passes behind other objects. Nikon’s EXPEED 5 processor means you’ll never encounter any buffering or lag; if you hold the shutter down, the D500 will just keep firing. Downside: It requires the uncommon and expensive XQD memory card for max performance.
