The shoe provides a minimal fit and feel, much like that of the NB Minimus 10 or ZERO, but with more traditional midsole heights (14mm in the heel and 10 in the forefoot) and a more supportive upper similar to conventional trail running shoes. The NB Minimus 1010 trail is perfect for the runner that is looking to gradually transition into lower stack heights.

The NB Minimus 1010 trail provides a quick drying and breathable monomesh upper, a debris free construction and a minimal application of materials to the upper, keeping it lightweight. An ideal combination of synthetics and a welded TPU create a secure midfoot wrap while keeping the toe box open for forefoot splay.The midsole of the NB Minimus 1010 trail is composed of RevLite, the same durable, stable, well-cushioned lightweight foam that is used in several other NB Minimus shoes. The outsole features a unique construction of pods that are strategically placed where the athlete needs them most to maximize performance while minimizing weight. Each individual pod is filled with Vibram TC-1 Dura, an advanced compound specifically engineered to maintain grip on adventurous trails. New Balance partnered with Vibram, the world leader in advanced performance sole design, once again for this sole unit to create an outsole design that is engineered for natural movement and provides off-road durability and traction.
