With limited external seams and no trace of leather, this all-weather 200g PrimaLoft R ECO insulated boot keeps the foot dry and warm no matter what conditions Mother Nature throws at you. This boot is versatile enough for a light day hike, short snow shoe trek or casual walking around town in the winter.

Like on its predecessor, the NB 1000, a VibramR Ice Trek Outsole on the 1099 works to provide maximum grip on snow and ice even in extreme cold. The compound’s softness allows it to adhere to smooth surfaces and grip onto iced ground. It won’t scratch or ruin interior floors and it doesn’t absorb humidity or dirt.
