NEMO Cloudview
Basecamp lounger
Our take Instead of cocooning you in folds of material that block your peripheral vision, the Cloudview keeps you propped up and ready to chat with your friends around camp. Two 37-inch aluminum spreader bars hold both the head and foot ends open, working with stiff polyester mesh panels to support your torso like a recliner. A small drop in the foot end keeps your legs level for maximum comfort. “I was exhausted after a hike in Pennsylvania’s Moshannon State Forest, and this hammock was perfect for relaxing back in camp,” says our tester.
Features The Cloudview comes equipped with rigging, and dots on the adjustment hooks are a useful guide for easily threading the straps. This hammock also received high marks for durability thanks to its burly woven polyester construction. A cup holder and a tablet sleeve are nice touches as well. Drawback: The weight means you won’t be carrying the Cloudview far.
Trail cred “Setting up this hammock was super intuitive. It only took me a minute to figure it out,” said our tester.
