High-durability HardWear Tarp HD on front panel resists damage from ice axes, crampons and rocks. HDPE framesheet with alloy shaping rod for load support. Minimalist option: remove framesheet and top pocket, swap padded belt for 1½” webbing hipbelt (included) for reduced pack weight of under 3 lbs. for summit push.
