Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) Brio 40 Plus Backpack

Brand: Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC)

Model: Brio 40 Plus Backpack

Existing modelThe Brio 40 Plus is a top-loading, mid-capacity pack designed for backcountry skiing, hiking, cragging, and mountaineering. It features the Brio line’s trademark “maximum features for minimum dollars” design. A floating lid lets you configure the carrying capacity to accommodate day trips, overnighters, or lightly packed weekends. A Spundra stretch skirt on this lid snugs around irregular loads and any protruding cargo. The main pack fabric is a 210-denier nylon, reinforced in a grid pattern with Dyneema polyethylene threads. Dyneema, the same material used to make climbing slings, gives the fabric great tear-resistance – it also keeps the fabric’s surface smooth and minimizes the snow adhesion that can occur with conventional ripstop fabrics.
