Our take Arrange your PFD just how you like it—binocular pocket on the left, snack compartment on the right—with the Poseidon, a front-entry jacket with separate attachment points for adding as many accessory pockets as you like. It comes standard with a full chest pocket and belly pocket (additional chest pockets sold separately $35-$45) and a back-mounted hydration system. On Colorado’s Trappers Lake, we found a home for a two-way radio on the right side and our map in the full chest. Most importantly, when we gave it the plunge test, it stayed snug.
