Humangear casq

Insulated bottle

Brand: Humangear

Model: casq

Our take Does the world need another insulated water bottle? We were dubious, but the casq makes some welcome improvements. Testers love the narrow shape, which slides easily into pack side pockets (and car cupholders). And the rubber bottom protects against dents (while dings add character, they can compromise a bottle’s vacuum seal). “It kept my tea hot for about six hours, as you’d expect,” says one tester. “And I like how the two-cap system—one small, one large—makes it easy to drink from and fill.”

Trail cred “Over the last couple of years, I’ve been taking an insulated bottle on every trip,” says a tester. “I prefer bottles to hydration reservoirs, so having one that packs easier makes a huge difference, especially when I’m dayhiking with a smaller pack.”
