Need some spring in your step? This new flavor of one of our favorite trail snacks more than doubles the caffeine content from Honey Stinger’s previous energy chews (75 milligrams, or about one cup of coffee). We definitely noticed, especially on days that involved thousands of feet of gain. The blocks are bigger yet softer than competitors, meaning more bang for your buck and fewer sore jaws. “I hiked nonstop through full sunlight, humidity, no shade, and multiple climbs. I was sweating profusely the whole time, but these chews helped me avoid cramping,” one tester said during his three-day trip through Idaho’s Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.

Ingredients

The 160 milligrams of sodium and 50 milligrams of potassium replenish electrolytes needed for trail performance (the chews also provide 155 calories per pack).  Tradeoff: price.
