BioLite HeadLamp 330

Most comfortable

Brand: BioLite

Model: HeadLamp 330

OUR TAKE BioLite’s first foray into headlamps results in a light that our testers were happy to wear for hours. Instead of placing the rechargeable battery in the lamp’s housing, designers moved it to the back of the head (rare for this weight class), slimming down the light itself to a 9mm-thick panel that sits almost flush with the headband. The result: We barely noticed the lamp was sitting on our foreheads. Flood and spot lights (330 lumens combined) illuminate objects up to 250 feet away. A strobe and red light round out the feature set. The 900mAh battery has enough juice for 3.5 hours on high or 40 hours on low.

TRAIL CRED “Most headlamps this bright jiggle around so much when I run that I feel like I’m getting seasick,” one tester says, “but this one never budged.”
