Gear Review: Patagonia Merino 2 Lightweight

This tee is naturally breathable, resists odor, and feels as soft as cotton.

Testers mistook this for a cotton tee—that’s how soft the wool is (it’s blended with 20 percent recycled poly). Worn under a hardshell on a long climb in 40°F weather in Wyoming’s Tetons, the fabric became only faintly damp, and it dried completely during a 10-minute break. It never got stinky and shows no pilling after a full summer.
