This jacket’s soft, stretchy Pertex Shield fabric doesn’t get crinkly in the cold, like many waterproof/breathables do.
It’s light and packable enough for year-round use, and testers loved it for spring skiing, because the hood stashes neatly into the collar, where it doesn’t flap around or form an uncomfortable roll around the neck.
