After her luggage went MIA, a buxom tester had to borrow the newly redesigned Vero for a week of rigorous backpacking through Tasmania—in a size smaller than she would have bought. “The Vero’s excellent adjustability worked in my favor,” she says. “The back closure has three adjustments, and the shoulder straps extend easily, giving you an extra three inches of length if necessary.” (That feature also facilitates an optional crossed-strap configuration). The wicking chestband didn’t wet out even on a three-hour slog up a peak in Walls of Jerusalem National Park, and she appreciated how the separate cups were “form-flattering enough to maintain some female shape under puffy layers.” The Vero is best for women who want more support, and is suitable for high-impact activities like running. $40-42; 3 oz.
