Gear Review: Harley-Davidson 13740
A sharp, titanium-handled knife
Like its namesake bikes, the Harley-Davidson 13740 performs like a badass piece of machinery. The do-it-all single blade (manufactured by Benchmade) emerged as our testers’ favorite, since the unfussy styling looks intimidatingly good, and the titanium handle makes it wicked light.
The 3.25-inch stainless steel blade holds its hot-knife-through-butter edge, and it opens and closes with a smooth motion that’s so satisfying, it’s almost addictive—like the call of the open road. $100; 3.3 oz.; benchmade.com
