Gear Review: Goal Zero's Nomad 7M Charger
Through the use of monocrystalline solar cells, Goal Zero created a super effective charger.
Goal Zero’s Nomad 7M uses seven-watt monocrystalline solar cells (a more efficient solar panel technology made from single silicon crystals) that double the efficiency of similar models. We tested a bevy of chargers side by side in the Sierra, Rockies, and New Zealand and saw significantly faster charging times with this one in both full and partial sun. Cord loops let you drape it across your tent or pack while hiking. $100; 13 oz.; goal0.com
