After hiking through boggy, shin-deep mud in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, our tester called the Black Diamond GTX FrontPoint Gaiters a godsend. “They unfailingly kept slime out of my boots, and the extra-fat Velcro closure stayed securely shut no matter how wet or gooey things got,” he attests.
