Fjällräven Keb Touring Trouser

Most Eco-friendly pants from the Fall/Winter 2018 Gear Guide.

Brand: Fjällräven Gear Review

Model: Keb Touring Trouser

None

We love a good softshell pant, even more so if it’s sustainably made. The Touring Trouser’s PFC-free DWR withstands all but the wettest snow. The seat, knees, cuffs, and interior of the pant legs are G-1000 Eco, a fabric made out of recycled polyester and organic cotton that has an extra-tight weave. “Despite run-ins with branches while I was tree-skiing near McNamara Hut outside of Aspen, these pants never ripped, ” one tester says.

THE DETAILS

A polyester-nylon blend adds breathability and stretch around the hips and thighs. “When I kept sliding back down an icy skin track, the pants didn’t hinder me. I wish I could say the same for my ham- strings,” our tester says.

TRAIL CRED

“The polyester lining on the inside is super soft,” one tester says. “Paired with hip-to-knee zippers to air things out, it makes for the most comfort- able touring pants I’ve ever used.”
Weight: 1 lb. 11 oz.;

Sizes: Men’s 28-40, Women’s 1-18
